Utility & Geothermal Trenching
E&J can provide the trenching services necessary to install geothermal loop systems copper/fiber optic and structured cabling for LAN, WAN, T1, Data, Telephone and Paging applications. We use a wide variety of equipment from small walk-behind trenchers to our largest (cross country plow) track unit, to install, move, maintain and repair underground utilities and geothermal loops.

E&J Electric and E&J Geothermal are committed to taking all necessary precautions to identify existing underground utilities before any groundwork begins. Prior to any groundwork our team will notify Iowa One-Call to locate public utilities in the immediate vicinity. This service is offered in most cases at no cost to the land owner. In the event the location requires further locating services to identify private utilities not covered by Iowa One-call, the land owner may request that our trained and certified team assist in locating the buried utility at our current labor rate.
